well that depends, what are you trying to do with your STAT result?

UAI and STAT are totally different things, not interchangeable as far as I'm aware. I think some unis have STAT cutoffs for some of their courses, which you can check by talking to the appropriate uni, whereas others will not accept STAT at all.

I remember reading somewhere that you don't get to see any decimal places for the scores, so it's possible that you could both get the same score once rounding is taken into account. and thanks :) bear in mind that I do already have a science degree so I guess there'd be something fairly wrong...

Verbal refers to the questions involving interpretation of poetry/cartoons/etc. Quantitative involves interpretation of charts/graphs/numbers.

Depends on what you're applying for, if it's undergraduate pharmacy at USyd then I think it's just a hurdle mark (ie. as long as you get 150+ then you're considered), but someone else who knows more can probably confirm. For vet science then your mark counts for 15% of your admission score iirc...

Just got back from STAT at Sydney Boys' High School. Most of the questions were okay, I had a bit of trouble with some of the verbal ones though, especially the last question. What were everyone else's experiences?
