    Being late to lectures/tutorials?

Late to lectures probably won't matter too much, so long as you don't make a heap of noise coming in and disrupt people. As for tutes, some tutors are relaxed but others will get a bit annoyed if its more than 5m that you're late by.

So do we just rock up and follow course?

No real different procedure from other yrs. Bring your timetable for the first few weeks at least, after that you should be able to remember when classes are, no need to bring a massive load of textbooks on day 1 (if you even have em) tutors/lecturers will usually go through what you need to...

    Does my GPA reset?

I think how it works is it basically does 'reset' for the new course, although both just show on your transcript. Though if you're carrying subjects over, you'll already have a GPA for the new degree from whatever units you carried over.

Uni, 4hrs straight of lessons too much?

Nah, 4hrs is really only two lectures, anything six hours or less is fine really - if it'll get me an extra day off I'd definitely take it.

    Gravity's Rainbow

I've never read it, good effort if you have though, its supposed to be like one of the most difficult books to read ever, I'm pretty sure there are guides written explaining how to read it lol.

2nd year in, not sure if ive done the right thing

I know exactly what HR is lol. HR is just a function relating to the employees of the business, managing recruitment, conducting exit interviews, and dealing with the trivial complaints of employees.

2nd year in, not sure if ive done the right thing

Maybe just go the way of the allied health (psychologist, physio etc) path even if the job market and such isn't great. Or consider sticking it out with the commerce and perhaps later starting your own business in one of these fields? I'd think a psychologist running their own clinic would make...

    Runescape Club

    runescape club? lol

    Walking INTO lectures...

...Can easily be done in most lectures though generally isn't so easy in tutorials but it depends on the tutes. Some tutes practically resemble a high school class in that there's only about 20 people, and everyone knows who everyone else is, the tutor calls out a roll, and the class basically...

    Walking out of lectures...

If you're afraid they're gonna give you a dirty look or whatever then just sneak out the moment they turn their back lol. Most don't seem to care a whole lot though, seems pretty standard to me that a couple people per lec walk out to answer phones or just don't come back. I've seen though a...

    What to combine law with?

Nah you can do med/law @ monash, I think its a 7 yr degree, and involves overloading in years 2-7.

Best course to do if wanting to transfer to Comm/law

Depends on a few things. Most importantly is probably to pick what you're best at, since you'll need the highest avg possible. It depends though whether the uni prefers one course over another, e.g do they pick people with 80 avg in commerce over people with 82 in Arts, so see if you can figure...

    I can't see forum posts?

Does anyone have a rough idea of when they will return?
  14. G

Do you know what career you want to pursue?

There are people who do Arts and know for sure what they want to do, but a lot don't and are intending to either transfer through to something else (maybe law, maybe commerce, who knows), or complete it and then figure out the next move. Some though would know their intended major, then do...

Which Law double degree is Better ?

I don't really think that science would really be useful in a career in law, though I guess you've already done a fair bit of the degree so you may as well finish it off and then pursue a law career.

    Bachelor of Business Year 1

I believe it will be quite similar yes. I think the ATAR is in from this year onwards? Its just ranking more states really, there is probably more info about this on something like the VTAC website..

    Bachelor of Business Year 1

ENTER is around 80, low 80's.

    Pathway to become a judge?

Pretty long road, no doubt. You'd probably have been a barrister for many years beforehand, like the previous poster mentioned, perhaps a QC/SC. I have no statistics, but I'd say most judges would be 50+, so yeah, a lot more than just 10-15. Indeed, the QC/SC will generally earn a lot more...

    ENTER for Medicine at Monash

Yeah, I know a guy who got in with a 97, though he apparently killed the UMAT.

Atar mark needed for law school?

Pretty sure like a 90 or so suffices @ Deakin.
