also use 100mL of ethanol and use saturated or excess solute, filter out the undissolved mass, measure this mass and deduct it from the original mass of solute placed into the ethanol. Then the solubility can be measured in g/100mL

Personally i dont think anyone going into year 11 understand this but 10-11 units is more than enough. I started with 13 and it was way too much, dropped biology and then had heaps of time to concentrate on the others
