    Simple Harmonic Motion

Fitzpatrick 25C, Q16 A particle moving with SHM starts from rest at x=5 and after 2 seconds reaches x=2.5. Find: i) an expression for the displacement at time t > or = 0

    Holidays! Study or Relax?

Not everyone burns out. If you can study effectively for 12 hours, go a head and do it.

Is it necessary to actually read Frankenstein?

I don't see harm in reading it though, its a fairly short book you might as well read it to get a better understanding it.

Is it necessary to actually read Frankenstein?

I didn't find it boring but I'm not someone that enjoys english either.

    Dry cell chemistry

Yeah I also read something like that but it was in someone elses notes so I wasnt sure it was completely right. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

    Dry cell chemistry

I've seen many different cathode reactions for the Lelanche cell. The ones in Jacaranda and Conquering are both different and I'm not sure which one is correct. <!--[if !mso]> <style> v\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} o\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} w\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} .shape...

    Further properties of definite integrals

Lol..... Yep...... Okay thanks got it now

    Further properties of definite integrals

Can u explain it to me? In this example, how did it get from line 1 to line 2? I know how he got (u^2)/(e^-u+1) to (u^2.e^u)/(1+e^u) but what happened to the (-du) and how did he change -2 and 2 to 2 and -2

    Further properties of definite integrals

I'm completely lost in definite integrals for 4u integration. The textbook is not making any sense to me. The Cambridge textbook is just confusing and the Terry Lee one just gives one single example with no explanations at all. Could someone kind enough please explain to me briefly the idea of...

    dot point textbooks

Do these books contain similar questions as HSC questions or are many of them irrelevant like the ones in textbooks? I also remember seeing two types, what is the difference? I was just wondering because I wanted to practice for my half yearlies without using trial past papers just yet. And I am...

Using substitution to reduce integrals to standard form

Ok, but I've seen some worked examples done involving trig substitution and they don't mention any restrictions on domain in the working out. Do I lose any marks for not including it?

Using substitution to reduce integrals to standard form

In chapter 5.3 in Cambridge 4u there is an example: I don't understand why it is necessary to restrict the values of u so that each x-value in the domain of the integrand corresponds to exactly one value of u. I'm guessing the same concept applies when doing trignometric substitutions...
