basically airforce is really competitive cos its an officer position for the year. so you have to fit officer specifications as well as somethign else. I think applications open may 1 and then you just start the process there. first round are online tests done by a profiling/recruitment company...

Hey same position. I'm march 8 for navy, down for earlier if someone fails medical or drops out. I did manage to find a loop hole which works for navy and air force that if you have to leave for uni in 2011 you can. I've applied for UQ as well and will defer for 2010 as well. March isnt so...

yeah i was told to book one. i guess QLD is different. I was heaps surprised that they wanted to actually watch you do the beep test before your actual test date though....hope everyones hsc is going well if youre doing it

hey guys, just wondering about someting. I rang my local DFR to find out how to book my pre-enlistment fittness assessment etc adn she booked me a date for a practice. Apparently you need to practice the beep test to see that you're running at the right pace or something. Has anyone else...

Mggail, all the stuff for the navy was on the adf website for mine. Also they gave me a booklet on my YOU session with heaps of stuff for all the forces if you got one give that a thorough read too. Yeah pretty similar to you session interveiw bit where you wait to be called but its different...

My YOU sesson went for 6 and a half hours (there were like 30 of us). Assessment day i was there for 5... and a majority of it was waiting around. THe interviews usually take about 30 mins for the DI (defence interview) my psych was about 20 min and my medical was 20 mins. In bris they did tests...

hey was reading something on the navy recruit school website about being given a division ie waller, getting, moran or rankin (for navy) and within that division you are split into classes of between 15 and 25 people... idk if thats what your mate meant or maybe i've got it wrong. I recon...
