Hey guys.
I was wondering if someone could recommend a suitable supplementary text for Heaney's poems. Supposedly these poems focus on memories, past vs present, etc. rather than consumerism and so my supp. text fails...
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Hi
Could someone please help me with this question:
Give an additional identifying test for lead ions.
This was a question following an experiment we did in class, which included precipitation and flame tests...
Hello
Could someone please explain to me how to do the parts regarding the angle x??? (I've already sketched the ellipse, hyperbola + common auxillary circles.)
Sketch the ellipse , the hyperbola and their common auxillary circles and on the same diagram, showing the angle x and the...
Hi
Could someone please explain to me how to do transformations for:
f(x^2)
inverse sin (x)
inverse cos (x)
inverse tan(x)
or suggest any resources i could use?
I had some in my exams and I totally failed them
Thanx
From a point P on x^2/a^2 - y^2/b^2 = 1, two lines are drawn parallel to each of the asymptotes, cutting the asymptotes at M and N. Prove that the area of the parallelogram ONPM is constant (where O is the origin).
How the hell do I do this? I found the equ. of the lines and found M and N...
Hi
How exactly would I do this?
The normal to the ellipse x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1 at P(x1, y1) meets the x-axis in N and the Y-axis in G. Prove PN/NG = (1-e^2)/e^2<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
50 mL of a 0.28 mol/L solution of ammonia at 19.6 degrees Celsius was added to 100 mL of a 0.14 mol/L solution of nitric acid also at 19.6 degrees Celsius. The final temp. was 20.7 degrees Celsius. Write a net ionic equation for the reaction taht occurred. Making the same assumptions and using...
When 25 mL of a solution at 23.2 degrees Celsius containing 5.00 * 10^(-3) mol NaOH was mixed with 50 mL of a solution also at 23.2 degrees Celsius that contained 6.00 * 10^(-3) mol HCl in a light plastic beaker, the final temp. of the mixture was 24.1 degrees Celsius. Calculate the heat...
1. Find the equation of the tangents to the ellipse x^2/25 + y^2/9 = 1 which are parallel to the diameter y = 2x.
2. The tangent at P on the ellipse x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 =1 cuts the x axis at T and the perpendicular PN is drawn to the x-axis. If O is the origin, prove that ON * OT = a^2.

Hi
Do you think the positioning of a nephron in a kidney influences its function? Justify your answer.
I've tried searching for it in my textbooks as well as the Internet but to no avail...
PLEASE HELP!!!
Hmmm if it were concurrent, u wuld use the P.O.I. and sub it into the equ. of normal at R rite?
But that doesn't seem to work...you just get this long complicated equation...
The original question with "constant" doesn't seem to help either... :(
