(First yr student here)
ok so on a Tuesday i have a MATH1001 tutorial at 11am and then like a 4 hour break until something else that day.
I'm not to keen on having that huge break so i looked up MATH1001...
Thanks for the info.
So do we just buy this card on the day (bring $110 with us?) and then head to sign up to a few clubs/societies? Or should we buy the card before hand
Also, is there any good events on at night that are worth going to (for us over 18s)? : )
Just wanted to ask about O week... and specifically about the clubs/Societies
So how do these work? Do we just walk around and sign up with the one's we like... give them some contact details or whatever?
Also looking around on the usyd website it seems there is some sort of 'USU Access...
For Civil Engineering USYD and UTS offer normal Civil then also Civil [Construction], Civil [Structural], Civil [Project Engineering and Management] etc...
I just wanted to know is there much of a difference between them all and is it worth choosing one of the specialities or is it best to just...
Got E3 for extension and Band 5 for 2unit... but i was looking before and i don't think i get any points for band 5 in maths...and just 1pt for E3 which takes me to 89
Also with 2nd and 3rd round offers how do they work?... do i accept like an offer from my 2nd preference sydney and then reject...
So basically got an 88 atar but wanted to do engineering at UNSW which has a cut off of 91.00...
So i just wanted to know realistically what are my chances of getting into UNSW if i keep it as my 1st preference?
Thanks
Thanks heaps for that information Seremify007 and twistedrebel,
So you had a cadetship Seremify? I understand you probably got a big4 cadetship, but If a mid tier firm offers a 2nd round interview what does that usually mean in terms of actually getting the cadetship? Would many 2nd round...
The workload for Cadetships seem heaps intense. Work Full time/study part time for 2 years and then Study full time/Work part time for 2 years :spzz: Bye Bye life :wave:It would be worth it though in the long term if i can get one.
With the UTS BAcc would you achieve much with the two 6 month...
I haven't got either yet, but which one would you go with if you were offered both a mid tier cadethship and the UTS BAcc? Any particular advantages for either of them over the other one?
