that was a difficult exam. Having done the ones from the past 10 years, this one was pretty rough. I'm assuming since last years was about 83, this year might be a bit lower. Im probably wrong though
^i got 20ma too but im fairly sure we are wrong. It was a really basic quiestion but i think we overcomplicated it. It just seemed to simple for the 2 marks in my opinion. Though that test was quite the fucking challenge
mine was a mix of the independent and my teachers own q's. I got 96, my mates got 95 and 94, then kind of tailed off into 86 and so on. Hope tomorrow's isn't too difficult, but you never know the BOS seems to be pulling a few tricks this year
mate if that question was out of 2 you'd get full marks. The thing about engo is this; there is a massive syllabus and it's not very clear and quiet confusing, they arnt like sciences where they want to take marks off you for stupid little shit. In engo they will give you the benefit of the...
i dunno was pretty stoked, my mate got 95 and another guy 94, then it kind of dropped off. I'm worried that my teacher marked a bit too easily. if you really like the subject it is all fun to learn and a lot of the answers require a good general knowledge of engineering practices.
I think our teacher combined the independent with some of his own q's, im keen to know what raw marks people were cranking up, especially those near the top of their classes.
Thanks fellas
Doing these questions is all about balancing the forces. Lift to drag can be complicated (in an accelerating system) or basic in a static system
You will be given a multitude of forces to begin with, usually the weight, angle of attack, and thrust.
Since lift=weight. L=WsinX, where lift = mg sin...
Firstly you would isolate your two case study areas eg Alipne/Coral reefs within your introduction.
You would then explain that both involve a complex interaction of abiotic and biotic factors that make up the biosphere found - include examples of niche environments and the utiliastion of the...
Has anyone here done the Independent trial for Geography 2011, what was it like? Also, has anyone got any independent trial papers from 2010-2008?
Cheers
