    Belonging: Related Text Suggestions

    Carol Ann Duffy's poems are quite good for Belonging, particularly My parents kept me from children who were rough and Originally. Shaun Tan's picture books are good, but a lot of people use those.

    Belonging Creative Writing Ideas

    I wrote about two girls, one who's blind and one who's deaf. The blind one wears glasses to try to blend in, and the the deaf girl has headphones. In the end they swap. I don't know how effective that is though.
