Just switched computers and now its working haha, thanks for checking!
Yeah it is very much common sense..I think the only areas which I may need to revise is some of the Workcover/OHS info and definitions of viruses and trojans etc!
That's exactly what happened to most of my class, we had to...
They will have one question for Section III and one question for Section IV
Exactly how I feel about it! I haven't started studying though - I did 0% study and got 92% in the Independent Trial haha
Are the online multiple choice working for you? It stops loading for me
it's seems you're the only other person posting on here about Russia and Trotsky :)
Well it's highly unlikely that they will ask specifically about his exile in A) because the question is usually "describe the rise to prominence" or "explain the significant events" and the question has to...
It depends what the question is: It may be "Why did Stalin win the struggle over power" or something like "Explain why there was a struggle for power after Lenin's death" or "the power struggle was a conflict of ideologies. Assess this..."
You need to talk about FOREIGN factors affecting policy - hence foreign policy
things like:
- Treaty of Rapallo
- Nazi-Soviet Non Agreession Pacr
- Treaty of Brest-Litovsk
- Anglo-Soviet agreements
etc
etc
etc
When it's talking about in conjunction with purges and show trials, then I'd say its all about Stalinism's impacts - I did an essay plan for this question, though you could probably tie Lenin in by contrasting his "red terror" with Stalin's Cheka

This is my nightmare because I'm one of those "many people" haha, but as long as the power struggle question is something like "why did Stalin win the struggle over power" or "the power struggle was a conflict of ideologies, assess the accuracy of this statement"
LoveHateSchool, in regards to your prediction that one Russia question will be on Stalinism
I've just noticed that the 2007,08,09,10 (b) question were all on Stalinism
Do you think this is a good indicator of a Stalinism question this year?
Personality section should not be daunting anyway: Part A is basically their life with reference to "rise to prominence" or "significant events"
and Part B is continuously relating to the quote or question
We've all done two english papers already so it shouldn't be that hard to structure
This is pretty accurate, our Independent trial paper had a question based around Collectivisation and Industrialisation so Stalinism is likely and Bolshevik consolidation of power would be excellent if it related to War Communism/NEP or the Civil War (I'm not too good on the general info)
