I think that is quite true, it becomes harder to score marks in essay questions and sometimes it can be that they want to maintain standards so they are reluctant to give out marks. but if u do well, u should be fine.
Have a look at this persons essays, they are definitely solid band 6 material IMO

should give u an idea or help u out :D
I'm a Science/Law Student
but I was wondering is how hard is it for people to get HD's for Advanced Science and Med Science? and how are these courses relatively easy or difficult. I'm asking bcs I have friends doing it and I had always wondered?
so does it meant if someone gets a perfect WAM it equals 99.95?
btw i think D should get u through.
i find uni easier than the hsc, but that's probs bcs i have so much free time compared to the hsc :) good luck
That's why you go to a selective school, if the pressure brings u down, U always have the comfort that ur school assessment mark will pull you up. but in my school my internals brought me down and I regretted not topping every course possible!
I would agree, I did so much out of school and the HSC was just another exam but one which mattered to a certain extent. IMO, the HSC wasn't too hard, just required consistency, well at my school at least!
I get where you're coming from, but those are usually people who study hard. I would perhaps use that excuse.
but I know for certain that this kid, didn't know anything 2 days before her exams. I mean she completely understood concepts, but you need to study them aswell, just not understand and...
Thanks.
I guess so, some people are naturally gifted. I just get irritated by the fact that they could actually get 99.95 if they try hard enough. She just got lucky!
99.75!
I know and 97.30 is a ridiculously good ATAR tbh, so it just annoys me! oh well, may be she is just super brilliant, if she had only put in consistent effort 99.95 would have been on her plate!
possibly because I knew how hard I had to work for my ATAR and it annoys me when people get so high without trying.
and dw, I'm not promoting tutoring or anything, I don't even charge her, she is a family friend!
I think she wanted to study, but didn't actually study - if that makes sense.
She would concentrate in class, but she would not go home and consolidate it at all. so she was sort of interested... If you get what I mean? This girl confuses the life out of me!
I seem to be confused with this, so I'm hoping someone here would help.
A student I tutored for English, Religion and Physics, did absolutely v.little study at all. I mean she would follow her work as in understand concepts, but would never do her homework and even the two days before the exam...
