    Im pretty sure part a was a dehydration with concentrated sulfuric acid dehydrating the copper crystals causing the color change. I completely agree with the two many calculation, also allot on titration's which sucked.

    I said its because a strong acid and a strong base produce a salt and water, 100% guessing though.

    Re: Chem How HARD!! Does anyone know what liquid X was? i guessed sulfuric acid and talked about it dehydrating the copper sulfide crystal thing.

    I should have got around 80/100 but anything above 70 will be AWESOME!!!
