hola i've been at unilodge for 2 years already, happy to help with anything (even super specific stuff) you guys want to know :)
social wise, it's like everyone says, it's what you make of it... seriously
your rooms are small (unless in a studio) and the shared areas are small too, you can get from your room to the fridge in like 3 seconds
there maybe not be enough space to put a mini fridge in your room (again, depends on where you are)
the common room fridge fridge is only accessible by you and...
what kind of room are you in in unilodge and where? have you seen the rooms before?
all unilodge have fridge/freezer + microwave, oven depends on where you are
I don't know about law but for IR, my tutes were around 16 people? And since they aren't compulsory a lot of people don't go so often it ends up like 8 to 10 people. Depends on popularity of your course too
(don't live there but I have friends who do)
great social life if you want it to be, lots of social events and opportunities to get involved but you can also stay in your room and keep to yourself if that's what you like, quite a lot of first years i think
lena karmel is the newest, most cleanest, kind of hotel-looking
it's a bit more secluded than the other ones as it's mostly studios so people keep to themselves
davey is the oldest and.. least clean/nice but more social
kinloch is quite nice i reckon, a lot of events (and also parties for some...
having contrasting artists is actually good cos you have more to talk about, maybe find some similarities so you can draw links if you have to?
mine are all super similar lol
know your artists well... if you have time, look up random semi-popular artworks (contemporary) and write a bit about them in terms of the frames
OR DO PAST PAPERS IDK
