my school rank was just above 400, and there was a girl in my cohort who was comming first in 6 subjects, however her atar was only ~88, so u have to get good marks as well as high ranks to get the atar you require

no not at all, u will still be able to even get a band 6, as your assesment marks are moderated by your exam marks

write lots of pratice essays, get feedback from your teachers, once you're both happy memorise them and then adapt them to the question

i reckon if you get in the top 8-15 for most subjects you should be able to get a 90 atar easily

At the end of the day, its still the same qualification! Sure, degrees from top notch Unis such USYD or UNSW come with a higher reputation, but in this day and age that only takes you so far. Either way, after you land your first job, you will have experience and thats what employers look for...

you can use two different case studies but do not flood ur essay with them, it is only to back up ur argument like i said the main focus of ur paragraphs should still be answering the question by conveying ur knowledge of the course

thats not a good strayegy of approaching the use of case studies, the case study should be used to explain and show the effectiveness behined your arguing and you must be carefull not to over use it. so i would recommend to use it once per paragraph but no more and it dosnt have to be to long...
