I swear lares are men of as the textbook says 'they are usually depicted as two men dancing'
Pompeii short answers were:
- role of women in Herculaneum and refer to the statue of the lady and the extract (4 marks)
- assess usefulness of the statuette and the wall painting in helping historians...
Yeah the statuettes were the lares (household gods) but I thought it was a specific god and got it wrong
And for the Herculaneum boat question, note it says Herculaneum. Only the pompeian inhabitants died of asphyxiation and thermal shock. They were in a boat shed so they couldn't have been...
Pompeii was so hard. Even the multiple choice was hard wtf. And the extended response.
And to those who do The Greek World, those questions were crazy hard. I feel like my 1st ranking just dropped 20 places...
Do higher ranking schools e.g James Ruse have greater scaling than lower ranking schools? Seeing as all the JR kids do well in their subjects and HSC, would that mean that they are scaled up more? Or is everyone scaled up the same way without taking into account the school rank? Thanks
I would like to do extension 2 english, but I'm not quite clear on it. I know you need to compose a major work throughout the year, but what exactly does it involve? Is it difficult to get a good mark? And would you guys recommend doing it?
Thanks
:)
:dog:
Most likely english. But it could depend on what language my partner speaks. if we both speak different languages, then might as well start off with english and progress onto the other languages.
I heard that doing 2U and 4U subjects would be better for scaling in the HSC, and that doing 3U subjects wouldn't be very beneficial. Is it actually true that doing 3U wouldn't scale as well and it could drag your ATAR down at times?
Currently, I'm studying Genesis at school. We have to find a text which incorporates the Genesis story or characters into it. What would you guys suggest?
Thanks !
