Join the actuarial society, you'll make friends there. (btw you might seriously think about changing your secondary to science or single degree because any job u can get with applied finance you can get with actuarial studies, stats/maths science double gives u advantage in more quantitative roles)
You should definitely go for it if you like very quantitative applied mathematics/statistics/probability. As for being shy(im shy but not as shy as u), its ok but you should work on it at university by joining societies etc, otherwise it'll be harder to find an internship/job later.

you'll get zero for ur whole paper... tbh don't worry about it. What's done is done and you can't do anyhting abuot it. No point worrying about a sunk cost. Focus on ur next exam
expectation? excepting?? dont know what u mean. I'd personally do HSC chem. Draw diagrams and equations to support ur answer. btw should've done this at the start of yr 12
i've seen this like 7 times already just play around with an atar calculator... and its obviously possible i got 99.60 in 2012
MX1 99,MX2 96,Chem 95,Physics 93,Eng Adv 88
shitty internal marks dont mean anything. Your ranks and ur internal marks compared to everyone else does. and also if you could get 75+ Raw for all your subjects given that they scale well(eng adv, economics, chem, physics, MX1, MX2) its very close to 99 atar. A 75% raw is not as easy as it...
Respecting the maths marks probably 96+ MX1 and 94-95 in MX2. Chem and physics are ridiculously high??? not sure if easy marking or actually good. when i did it i got around 80% and ended up with 95 overall mark, so ??? probably easy marking so 90-92 overall mark at that rank.
probably closer...
1 : anywhere from 95-99 depending on how good friend 1 is
2 : same as friend 1 maybe 96-99 because of english
very hard to accurately estimate with small cohort
96-MX2, 99-MX1 2012 HSC here my advice is legit. lol soz haven't seen a textbook for 4u since 2012 so i hav no idea about new fitz. the one mentioned below refers to the old one.
best MX1 book is fitzpatrick (green) perfect for all topics (notice they change publisher for 4u book because 4u...
