Actuarial studies vs com/laws vs commerce (liberal studies)

Reneranger, unless you want to do trading or hardcore quant (which u probs need to go overseas and get 1st class honours to get a job) I would highly suggest against doing actuarial or maths heavy majors. This is because 1)for ib getting a good wam (82 plus for duration of degree) in...

    UNSW-University of Tokyo Exchange

The wam cutoff for U of Tokyo was 60 for s2 2013 and s1 2014 but was 75 for s2 2014. However I think it's because they have language requirements otherwise it sounds a bit low to me

UNSW → A guide to transferring internally to law

I was able to transfer with a wam of 78.5 From my research it usually hovers around 77-79 so if you get 80 ur pretty set. IMO I think it will stay about consistent for the foreseeable future as a lot of able students do actuarial now which means there's less competition for those law places...

    Transfer

If u go to unsw and applied an internal transfer, then I'm pretty sure you're in- usyd might take into consideration your atar so I'd say u have a higher chance at unsw than at usyd.

    UNSW Law internal transfer

Hello I'm trying to transfer into UNSW law internally and was wondering if anyone could tell me the WAM of a successful applicant- preferably from last year. From 2 yrs ago the cutoff was 76.8 (probably lower since it's just from BOS) So if you know any applicant who got a high wam and was...

    UNSW Subject Reviews.

Econ1202 Quantitative Analysis Ease:6/10 Conceptually not very difficult (I’m just not very mathsy and the course was structured and taught very badly but if you were good at 3u you should be fine) Content: 6/10 Just boring calculus/probability and a few new concepts Lecturer: Scott- Indian...
