    MBLG1001 Skills test

Morning. As a fellow MBLG student, I too understand your apprehension. From what I've heard, it does take the full 4 hours to complete and as much as you and I (and many others might I add) hate the labs, we must take responsibility for our learning and understand what in God's name is...

Medical Science - 2nd Year units

I do agree with you on how it isn't very good for medical school admissions tests (I wouldn't know about medical school!) apart from the 1st year science units you have to learn which could've been done in a Bachelor of Science/B.Sc(Adv). Yeah, I'm trying to think of what move will give me the...

Medical Science - 2nd Year units

Thanks for the advice Lawstu :) I'm not necessarily complaining about the scaling but I'm more so just concerned about working hard and not getting the grades I deserve due to what you said above and the last thing I need is a mediocre GPA/WAM.

Medical Science - 2nd Year units

Hello. I am currently undertaking a Bachelor of Medical Science at USyd and despite being really interested with the medical science 2nd year units, I have heard that they scale down terribly and I'm just thinking of what to do since GPA will be mainly important for me in 2nd and 3rd year. I...

I think it is possible - Although I think you might JUST make it or come up short due to maths/EE1.

    Failing Maths- what to do?

If you're going to make a post, at least post something of substance and address the question. Nothing personal, you're simply not helping the OP in any way. @OP: So to catch up, I'd start from the very basics (assuming you're completely screwed for everything) and use a relatively simple...

Scaling of IPT to Senior Science

Look, honestly choose what interests you whilst taking scaling into account. This has always been asked - doing a certain set of X subjects doesn't predetermine your ATAR or a certain threshold of scoring. Of course this becomes an issue when you're gunning for a high ATAR (99+) but 85 is very...

    What are you currently Reading?

Reading through a WHOLE compilation of Christina Rossetti's poems and prose fiction and my brain hurts :( Her poems are so sombre and downhearted, it's making me feel depressed! So tired of trying to interpret everything she writes so I've been reading her prose fiction which has been okay...
