dont worry i got hired after the HSC and was 19, but for some reason Im not getting a lot of shifts. Did 9 shifts in under 30 hours...
Edit: I think im old to work at maccas maybe? or maybe inexperienced to give me more shifts?
after you past the umat test its not over yet, theres an interview which is very competitive, only a few make it in if they have the required atar as well
I had a dream while sleeping of getting 57 atar :(. Now that I think about it it may be true because of my low scaling subjects also did really poorly in standard english
I'm 19 and got the job 4 weeks ago on the spot after my interview because of my experience in a restaurant
I'm not getting many shifts + hours as I'm too expensive
I applied before HSC was over, the interview was straight after my last exam
took 2 days to receive feedback from one store and 2 other store declined
interview within a week
Orientation within a week
start job within 2.5 weeks
so in total around 3 - 4 weeks
so now i had 4 shifts in 2 weeks...
i basically had a sausage fest during this morning. oh the best part was someone shot out some mayonnaise to put on my sausage. i basically had to shake the bottle and squeeze to get the juice out :)
19yo casual
Starting pay $15.15 / hr
after first 2 shifts as trainee next week i got a check of $18.48 / hr
i must be beast
not sure if this will go down this week because of the pay they gave for last week
ah. just keep on doing the subjects and see where it leads if you want. then drop your worst ranking subject or something after the half yearlies or at the end of this term?
