tsfx Mastering the HSC lecture worth it ?

Not worth it man seriously. I wasted so much time getting there, and listening to their constant reminder of how we should sign up to their paid seminars - bottom line was that, at the time I wasn't really going to retain anything even remotely touched upon in the lectures.

    Multiple Choice

I think 17 is A. That's what I put. As far as I am aware, all alcohols are polar? Therefore, whilst alcohol can dissolve some substances water cannot, alcohol is polar. However, it's definite that alcohol evaporates faster than water, used in cosmetics e.g. perfume Not sure, but I put A for that.

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive To Heroics question above, I don't know the answer. I plan to try and be active in this thread for a little bit as Chemistry is probably one of my weakest subjects. Here is my question: Amphiprotic substances have the ability to work as buffers in natural...

    Relaxing Subjects?

Senior Science. Best subject I ever picked. It's basically year 9-10 science and extremely easy. Just get >90 in it (not hard to do srs. check some past papers out and you'll be able to do half of it without even touching the course content) and you should be all sweet.

St Marys Senior High School - Help

I know a friend that goes there and I think she's going quite well. What ranking is your current school and is your cohort strong? One of the biggest things I regretted in Year 10-11 was not moving away to a better school than I am at currently. I'm pretty sure St Mary's Senior has a decent...

Need some general advice on catching up

For Chemistry, all my notes are done - but retention is an issue: I don't feel quite confident. I know regular study techniques but I don't know something barebones which I can follow throughout the next 4-5 weeks. Thanks for the suggestion of trial papers, I'll probably borrow the Success One...

    Pacemakers

Uhh, just off the top of my head - Pacemakers actually started to use lithium Iodine batteries - starting from 1970s - These lithium iodine batteries were able to provide a sustainable, reliable and were of high power. What is a good written related text for belong to groups? (Doing Romulus)

I tried reading Goodbye To Berlin yesterday but I just didn't like it for some reason, I got up to page 19 and it irritated me. I love the Kite Runner but I read it when I was 14 and hence only remember little and going through like 300 pages would take me too long. Thanks for the suggestion...
