Just an insight regarding UNSW internal transfer to law.. My friend with an ATAR of 97ish studied com lib at unsw and transferred into com/law at unsw with a wam of 73ish.. So from what i gather from posts above is that if the quota does exist, the wam required will also fluctuate but...

Do NOT ignore the extra travel time. I'm at Usyd atm and went to UNSW for 2yrs but that extra 30-40 minutes travel time saved is criminally underrated imo.. Concentration levels deteriorated for me during my time at unsw and i blame the extra travel.

Re: urrh this is extremely strange. I got accepted into this course when my atar is l I'd probably guess that some unis may inflate cutoffs slightly for specific courses. Purely for reputation reasons..
