    if i say come 20th in ranking and someone comes 6th but theres gap of only like 4 marks and then i smash the hsc tests and cover up the gap, will i get a better HSC mark then him or does your ranking stay the same throughout? just as how 1st in assessments will always come first or last will...

    Standard English is known as an Atar killer! i definitely recommend you switching to English Advanced. only like 20-60 people each year get a band 6 in Std English, compared to 3000 peeps in Advanced. its far easier to score a band 6 in Advanced than in Std i reckon. well atleast the statistics...
