well, they both have copious amounts of writing. but in my opinion, legal studies has more writing just due to the crimes acts and everything. so you will be doing english advanced too?

i know, but i still feel like i'm going to fail even if it doesn't affect my hsc.

my teacher loves to lecture us about this subject. like seriously, it's hard enough to come up with something to actually write a good narrative on without all the restrictions.

i know, it's killing me about the half yearly. i've been trying so hard in all my subjects and i have been getting great results apart from that, so i don't get why they won't let me appeal. at least prelim doesn't affect your atar though.

i'm so scared. do you feel like your teachers don't help with the anxiety levels either? i was in english advanced today and my teacher was like 'wow i saw your prelim trial paper today and it looks so difficult.' sigh, that isn't going to help any of us.

An essay is where you are mostly 'arguing' your views/side while a business report is strictly facts about your business. At the moment, we are creating our own business and have to make a business report at the end about the process. i don't know if this made sense but i hope it did.

talk to your teacher, if you get along with them. they might offer to give you a bit of extra help to get your vocab up.

i know this is late but do advanced. i'm doing advanced for english and maths and it is seriously going to be so much more helpful for the hsc. you learn so much more and it may be a challenge sometimes, but it's well worth it. trust me.

Honestly, i'm doing the HSC next year and it's sad that most people in my year, including myself, view the HSC as something that only proves who cracks under the pressure from the anxiety and everything and who doesn't.
