The NAFT thing was okay - the extension part was SO much better than the continuers. But that part where we had to act out the quotes was extremely awkward o.o
Anyway, I don't know how you guys are going with your studying for extension, but I know that (being the only student in my class) I...
I seriously get how you're feeling. Hello fellow depression sufferer *waves*. Right now the way I'm getting through everything is by having a hell of a lot of support (teachers, psychologist, psychiatrist, school counsellors etc) who understand how I'm feeling and are able to take away some of...
Looks like we'll all see eachother at Macquarie!
Am I the only one here doing art as well as French Extension on the last day?! I feel so alone!!! xD
For some reason I'm actually feeling really confident about all my subjects, even though I'm not doing brilliantly in some of them...I think...
Oh wow okay so I'm pretty similar to you guys. We're just finishing extract 7 and I've done tons of practice essays now but we haven't looked at the monologues. How are you guys all feeling about the coming few terms? I'm actually enjoying extension a lot more than continuers - continuers just...
Thanks for the tips!!! I finally am starting to feel a little bit of confidence with my French (thank god) so things are looking up. I'm going to write an essay this week so I will try and get around to posting it on here :)
Unfortunately due to working out whether the class would run in the first place I'm only up to extract 4 (we started very, very late into the term). However we go very deeply into the extracts. Every week for that side of the course I have to answer multiple long response questions as well as...
Hey guys!
I'm currently studying French Extension for the HSC but am in a class of 1 and therefore find that I have no one to share work with or any way of knowing whether I am up to where I need to be. So, I thought that I could bring us students together in order to share work, tips...
Hey guys!
For my AOS essay I have to look at The Tempest. I'm a bit confused about how to set out the ideas in my body paragraphs. I'm not 100% sure how to describe my question, but I'll take the example of one of the ideas in The Tempest.
So - if I was to write a body paragraph about the...
Does anyone have any notes at all on Imam Al'Shafi'i? I have to write an essay on him and I am seriously struggling to find quotes that I can use :/
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hey guys,
At the start of yr 11 I was doing Mathematics but due to missing lots of school (long story) I had to drop down to General. However, other than English it's the only subject I really can't concentrate in and am not interested in. My mum would have a heart attack if I dropped and I'm...
Okay, I know that being in yr12 this is a bit of a dumb question to still be asking, but I feel so unprepared for my first assessment. I'm still so confused about what an AOS is and how to write one. I don't know what things I need to be studying and therefore I have no idea how to approach it...
Hey everyone!
I've been doing lots of searching for workbooks in newsagents and book stores to help me out with preparing for the HSC. I can't find any on Visual Arts. Do they exist? Has anyone found anything that helps with studying?
Re: 99.6 ATAR Tutoring for English (95), Maths (97), Business Studies (97) + STATE RA
Would you possibly still be doing this? And maybe for French/ French Extension??
1. Rest a bit with friends in Australia, then head off overseas for a year as an Au Pair!!
2. Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) at Macquarie Uni
3. Yet to work that out. Part of me can't wait to finish school finally and do what I want, the other doesn't want to have to go through the stress of...
Yes, that's it. I know it sounds stupid dropping the only course that I really should be doing, but right now it's for the best. I think I'd be able to do it much better without the extreme pressure of the HSC.
I moved down in maths simply because it was too time consuming. I had a month away from school for health reasons in term 1 and therefore became very far behind and didn't have the motivation to catch up. I don't enjoy maths very much, but I'm generally good at it. I could do the higher maths...
I'm looking for a tutor beginning with my first term of yr12 (term 4 this year) until the end of the HSC next year in French Continuers and Extension. So far I can't find any anywhere which is quite disappointing. Anyone have any ideas where to find one?
