Err, are you being sarcastic? It's quite high of a pay for non professional jobs unless you're comparing with big 4 banks, accounting firms then obviously it isn't. I know you earn more than $50 an hour if you do investment banking and things like that but I'm now talking about non degree...

Since you're a merit scholar at macquarie, then go to macquarie as your opportunities will be in par with ppl at unsw coop and you'll be better off than being a normal uni student at unsw.

Come first in everything+ do well in actual HSC exam. Problem solved. End of story.

The good thing about it being hard is that it differentiates the good and bad students easily. You don't want to end up getting the same band as some who doesn't study.
