I don't think they would change it anymore than what they've changed it already in all honesty. It's important that nightfill/groceries uniform is comfortable so it would be a bit questionable if the do end up changing it.

Would anyone be able to tell me about gap scans and how to do them? All I know is that people used to hate doing them and you go through the store scanning all gaps (out of stocks) but what else goes into a gap scan? Cheers!

Bring it up with your CSM and I'm sure you can work something out which fits the two of you.

Yup, going part time definitely has a lot of benefits which out weigh a casual. Job security is the main benefit imo but everything else is a nice bonus. I think to be put on a contract it's a minimum 10 hours a week? Not sure if its a fortnightly based thing though. Full time high school for...

I think cstm's and 2ic's can still wear their white shirt but don't quote me on that. there was a post on the Google+ page about the preferred dress saying that fresh department shirts wil be phased and the company will be transferring to a more 'simpler' range.

Checkout sturggles hahah. When I was checkouts I always hated people bringing their own bags but after a few months I just didn't care about my scan rate (which my avg was about 21 items a minute) and then dropped to the 17 mark. People slapping their money down on the belt is pretty stupid too...

Thoughts on all stores and all employees returning to the green micro check shirt now that it's official? We got some pretty ticked off people over in my store

Could be just my store but they strongly prefer if you're over 18 to be a supervisor

Speaking about uniforms, does anyone have an older style woolies cap they'd be willing to sell me? I'm not a fan of the current one on total image and I'd like to see if anyone had a spare older style cap they'd be willing to let go.

Was boxing day unusually quiet for anyone else? My storr was like a ghost town and I guess management didn't expect that cause people from Front End and Groceries were sent home.

Checkouts got too boring for me so I jumped into Nightfill/Groceries and now I'm doing checkouts and those which is good. Having a variety honestly made me a lot happier on checkouts and also made me heaps more useful in general. Scan rate really doesn't mean much by the way so don't worry. And...

Well if you got induction next week and you're not planning to show up you probably should let Woolies know asap. Dunno if I'm missing something but that should be common sense?

Something to do with all the boxes on top of the aisles but I'm not enitely sure what it means tbh. A few weeeks ago I started seeing boxes, mainly Christmas shit, start to appear on top of shelves.

Handful of Christmas casuals are gonna come in sorta soon I would apply late September or early October if I were you. Also yesterday I worked 3:30-10 in perishables and on the roster it's coming up as 3:30-8:30. Does this mean I'll be shorted in my pay check? I arrived at the store at 3:20 and...

This new system is like FlyBuys and people are still complaining. To be honest the way I've always seen supermarkets is that you just go to the one that's closest to you, buy your groceries and go home happy. No need to be rewarded for buying food - this isn't preschool where you need to be...
