Hi do you mind sharing how you prepared for English and improved in the holidays?

Right now I'm thinking of reading other people's essays and taking notes of how they structure their work as well as maybe writing a few practice essay. I really struggle with cohesive and writing A range essays under timed conditions and my marks are very poor when I have to sit in class tests...

Thank you for your reply! Just wondering, do you recommend Terry Lee for 3U? I currently use MIF and Cambridge for 3U but I want to find harder questions, especially with the minimal past papers.

Our school uses the Maths in Focus textbook for the new 3u and 4u course. I've heard from other users that these textbooks are too easy and insufficient to prepare for actual HSC. I don't know if it's just a rumour but apparently Cambridge textbooks aren't that great for the new syllabus anymore...

Hey guys, does anyone have any tips on self learning 4u in the upcoming summer holidays. Anyone that self studied for 4u have any tips/resources? Also how much of the course do you think would be a good idea to cover?

Thanks for your answer. I'm trying really hard to read more but I always find hard to make time for writing. Also out of curiosity, is it considered plagiarising if you take certain plots/part of a storyline out of a published book and put it into your own narrative?
