THANKS SO MUCH! And OML math adv is literally the subject i was talking abt 😭 but thanks so much i needed this advice and ill def work towards improving in the subject.
Hi all,
Now that the final assessments are over (well for me anyway), I had a question for one of my subjects. I know there’s still time (trials + HSC) to fix my problem, but I just need some realistic advice.
So I do 6 subjects, and 5 out of 6 of them I do really well in - usually anywhere...
That’s fair. I think that it’s unanimous that even if you do digital or handwritten notes, that past papers and responses are handwritten and shouldn’t be typed.
Digitally so I could go back & revise/add on, but at the end of every topic I’d print them out and annotate them when it came to studying for exams/assessment tasks, etc. It really depends on what works for you, though,
IQ doesn’t measure intelligence in a broader sense, not to mention how many factors actually go into determining the average IQ of a population. Lol, there’s no genetic difference between any race because race is literally a social construct, and so one race isn’t intellectually superior to...
It’s so funny to see you write literal paragraphs on something you obviously don’t understand. You’re so immersed in your own racism you don’t even recognise how inconsistent your logic is and how stupid your justifications are. People co-existing in one country multiculturally doesn’t...
How’d you go on your SDD & Eco Preliminary exams? Consider your interest in both subjects, and what you would rather do. If you’re interested in a subject you’d be more willing to work hard, push yourself and succeed in it.
Sorry to hear about your results, but please remember that this isn’t the end of the world! Be proud of yourself for completing them no matter what, and even if the results were not as good as you expected, you have the opportunity to reflect on where you went wrong and fix those habits so you...
Yeah, I think the main issue was that our extension classes ran on the same lines, so math extension was at the same time as english and some students had to choose between them (and chose math). Super ridiculous lol but it’s fine
Same, all of the extension classes at our school are small, I’m the only student in English Extension I and I’m one of two for History Extension, our Math Extension has a couple more, 6 or 7?
I got most of my exams back today, did much better than I expected. In all of my subjects I’m now ranked first or in the top three, which is great! I’m glad they’re finally over, and while I did get favourable marks I really hope I improve my study patterns so I can smash HSC 💪 Hope Year 12 is...
Thank you very much!! I agree 100%, a majority of my extracurriculars are already geared towards my interests and are very similar, so I will focus on them. I appreciate this!
Hi all,
I’m seeking advice for extracurriculars and achievements I should be doing come University applications and for possible scholarships.
I’ve been doing a lot of extracurriculars, both in and out of school but is there a general rule of thumb I should follow? My achievements are centred...
For me, gaining an extensive vocabulary was a great benefit to reading. But as you said, one of the most important things in essays is structure, something you should be focused on is practicing writing to ensure your paragraphs are clear and effective. Another tip to improve your vocabulary...
