On this note, isn't CSP quite limited? So our application for CSP can still be (and for most domestic students, are) rejected, right?

yeah thats what i was thinking... old syl was more focussed on nephrons cos it had heavier content focus on details of kidney function. because syllabus change is still somewhat recent (with only like 4yrs of new past papers), some schools still teach the a few details of nephrons just in case...

This is only for state ranks that they do this in. Besides, your rank may be 'bad' to you but if your cohort is promising and there are lots of ties (i.e. multiple students sharing the same few ranks) then its fine tbh.

Yes, they do. In fact, I had an encounter myself. Last year, I ended second in internals for a subject, and ended up getting 50/50 in the hsc, but first place got 49/50. So, my external mark was 50, but assessment was 49. Whereas, the student who was internally first had an external mark of 49...
