Since the beginning of yr 11, I knew I was going to drop physics since I was doing really bad (mostly because I mucked around for all of year 11) and it was just too hard for me. But now as the time approaches to drop a subject, I'm not sure if I really want to anymore. It's by far the most...
So I did REALLY bad for the prelims, even on my lower scaling subjects. I didn't study for any subjects except on the last couple of days before and now I know why you shouldn't do that. so, will my performance in the prelims affect my HSC, assuming that most of my subjects' content carries onto...
dropped to standard a couple weeks ago. need to revise the whole textbook. relatively easy concepts to understand. prelim in 2 weeks. how do i smash out the whole textbook efficiently and still have time for other subjects?
Ever since the holidays ended (a couple weeks now), I've had 0 motivation to study and have done nothing the whole time. I got exams in 2 weeks and I'm cooked for all of them. Tips to get that little bit of motivation in would be helpful.
Thanks for this. When you started the adv math prelim course, did you ever look at the textbook and think "wtf is this?". Thats currently how I'm feeling rn.
The first 3 chapters (Functions, methods in algebra, surds) look relatively straightforward. It’s just chapter 4 and onwards which don’t make any sense in my brain. No lines or letters make any sense to me.
icl just checked out the adv maths textbook and it doesn’t look very friendly. looks like an ancient language. is there any way to prepare for it or make the learning a little bit easier?
I’ve been shit at english through all of hs (mostly passing 50-60%) and I’ve never understood on how to get better at it. What are some ways you guys study for it?
In yr 10 going to 11 and wondering what to expect in economics. I kind of picked it as a “filler” subject since I didn’t know what else to pick and it sounded interesting. All I know is that there’s a lot of essay writing which I’m not very good at.
I also got another question, I picked physics for year 11 and 12 and every physics teacher tells me that adv maths is the minimum to understand physics. If I do end up dropping to standard, will it be an issue succeeding in physics?
