Does anyone know an approximate ranking of how difficult the past few hsc chem papers have been? Also how far back is it worth going for papers, are the ones pre-2020 still on the same syllabus?

I don’t really know myself but I’ve heard people saying between 65-75 so my guess is probably a little below 70. Maybe like 67-68?

Yeah makes sense. Looking back on it there were quite a few easy marks I missed and some questions that weren’t nearly as hard as they looked in the exam. But who knows really, can still get a good ATAR contribution without a crazy mark

what do we reckon something around a 60 raw will align to?

we got kids on here stressing over a 97 raw💀 ill be surprised if i get much over 60 raw

i wrote some bs in 16 and got bits in 15, idk how these kids even had time to do 16 let alone complete it all

i mean a decent e3 still has a crazy atar contribution tho, so can still be worth it

yeah we only had 3 as well and i reckon no e4s. 1 or 2 of might be close if the aligning is good but i don't think well get there

it wasn't a bad question actually. im pretty sure that its just the constant of integration and that it isn't necesarily going to be the same each time you integrate that function or something like that. but it was certainly one of the more difficult fallacious proof questions ive seen
