yeahh, but i think in questions, they usually specifiy, and say DNA or protien synthesis, as soon as its protien synthesis, or polypeptide syntheses its mRNA and all that crap. i think the hardest thing is remembering scientists and what they did. with the exception of mendel.

i think you can mention DNA hybridisation, its the process where to take 2 DNA from different organisms, that you think are similar, or whatever, you split them, and then join them together. i think scientists then heat them up, and upon cooling, they observe the bases that join, and the bases...

transgenic species is bascially taking a gene from one organism, and putting it into another organism. for example COLD-STRAWBERRIES. These strawberries have a gene from a salmon- the gene is that is can cope better in cold conditions. what scientists have done is isolate the gene," cutting" it...

darwin didnt want to publish his theory for fear that people wouldnt accept it, and for prosecution from the Curch. when he did publish his theories, he was critisied- some believe that he was the reason for marx-ism, athesim, though it did revolutionise scientific thinking, and lead to furthur...

off the top of my head......as usual... DNA replication is the replication of genetic material, such as sprem or eggs, or it can be replication of muscle cells etc, happens in mitosis, not sure where. protien synthesis is mRNA and tRNA and all that, the production of a polypeptide, that goes...

i take it that this is like a core topic question? cause i dont really recall learning it about it...but... id say that with like cloning or genetic engineering, it reduces genetic variation, and makes the species more sepecptable to diseases because of the picking and choosing which...

they grew some mould on bread, they exposed the mould to x-rays to mutate it ( theyre killers) the x rays killed off some of the DNA in the mould the mould was then extracted and put onto new bread, or whatever. heres where it gets a bit tripy. if the mould grew, it was THROWN OUT, but if it...
