Hey guys, just saw some usyd news on a new Master of Management degree starting in 2009. Any thoughts on this? Is it worthwhile? Compared to honours or just going out and finding a job instead? More info here http://mmgt.econ.usyd.edu.au

Yeah I've seen lots of resumes with "referees available upon request" but if they really do request refs, I'd be screwed. Would it be awkward to ask a uni tutor to be a referee? Is it common to ask ex-school teachers/careers advisers to be referees instead?

Hi guys, Just wondering how important are referees in terms of applying for a cadetship? I'm in 1st year uni applying for the EY university to work program, but I don't have anyone to put down as my references. All I have is a written reference from school that I got when I graduated from yr12.

*sigh* I made the mistake today of walking into wentworth to buy a newspaper at around 10:30. There weren't too many other people at that time, so I got mobbed as soon as I stepped out of the shop :( Took me ~20min to get out of there

Was this a micro economics lecture with Pablo? if it was, lol @ how you tried to argue something about demand and supply Other than that, I've only had one other lecture where a candidate's come in and campaigned. I'm another clueless first year, probably won't be voting
