Does anyone know when people find out whether they got a premier's award? or what you have to do to get one? no one ever mentioned it at school cause they probably thought none of us stood a chance ;)

Australian was great :D and Absurd was a bit odd, but still ok :) I wrote 21 pages!!

Yeah i agree it was a pretty challenging paper, harder than any of the one's i've done before. The essay was pretty easy though, i just wish they'd give us a little bit more time thats all. Melodic dictation was a pig!

i did 2 related texts, mainly because i was used to writing my essay that way and also because i needed the 2nd one for my line of argument. I nearly ran out of time too but i just managed ;)

ive got 2 quotes from my stimulus text, 2 for my related texts and 3 for the prescribed. Ive memorised more though just in case. :)

for question 3 i reckon 1300-1500 is ideal, but for creative writing it only has to be 2 or 3 pages to get a top band response :)

im only doing "frost at midnight", my english teacher said it was much better to do one in depth than glossing over 2 or more. I mean its only 40 minutes and with 3 other texts to talk about thats 10 minutes per text, dont go and add another one unless you really have to!

i did the cssa paper and i don't know about anyone else but i found the melodic dictation REALLY REALLY difficult, not only the pitch intervals but the rhythm too

ours are on the 31st,1st and 2nd - its really good we've got so many people doing drama because our IP and our groups are on different days.

i do retreat from the global and i thought the question for the essay was bit too generic, but the composing was alright.
