Hey, Some of the unis have increased their fees by the full allowed 25% under the new legislation. I was wondering if ANU was one of them, or if any1s heard of the possibilty.

Hi, I was originally planning to do Commerce @ Sydney, when I came across this course in my UAC guide. Anyone doing it, or know what the deal is over there...asin, will I get the same recognition and accreditation as the one from Macq? Is it worth moving there ($180-200/week i reckon) to...

My UAI was 96.3, I'm totally lost and dont know what to do. Firstly, should I do Commerce or Economics - what's the difference (the majors you can choose from are virtually the same)? If I do Eco, can I major in Accounting and still get the same CPA recognition as the Commerce students do...

Dood..that sound so wrong, the assesments at one school couldve have been easier/harder to other schools....so they do look at the overall performance of a school to figure that out.

Really? I think there's more to it, isn't there..like ur school's performance affects the technical aspects of how the UAI is calulated,, scaling and so forth?

hemmm...patel's book has relevant questions..hsc type... arnold might have harder questions for some topics but it's not hsc type.

hemmm, mines ranked 20 and has just under 50% over 90... is there really that much of a difference for only 20%

nice try..what about all the reading, research, analysis..finding conflicting historiography, the proposal, log-book etc. Do you actually do history ext. or you just said that because that's what I thought at first...but there's more to it! Anyway, mine is due wk 9, Term 2 and we were told...

My teacher told us his favorite was Evans, and that we should all use a bit from him in our exams. It's basically a bigger, better version of Warren, but written with a slight modernist bias...and there's plently of constructive critisicm of PMs in Evans that'd be good to use in the exam.

I know we've been promised 100s of new notes, which is heaps great (and I really don't want to sound rude) but howcome there are still heaps of old notes that haven't been uploaded to the new site? Please don't say there gone forever...:confused:

I think it's better if they're combined though, at least for the historiography section...Ancients bring different skills/knowledge to the class thats valuable for Moderns (and vice versa)...especially since we study both ancient and mod historians. My school has a combined class anyway.
