Hi all, just a quick question: Is it possible to do one subject in a semester as a part-time load or is 2 the minimum...i can't seem to find any info regarding this on the uws website.

thanx frigid....just one more question regarding the prosecuting lawyer as im trying to figure out who was who: Does he/she actually present the case of the defendant before the magistrate or would that just be the lawyer?
I visited my local court yesterday and have a couple of questions which i hope someone might be able to answer:
1) Are there prosecutors in criminal proceedings that take place in local courts? I just couldnt figure out who the prosecutor was....there were only lawyers and some people had no...
While on the topic of the case note is it okay if we use dot points in answering some parts such as when stating the material facts....it looks better to list them and more understandable. I dont mean doing it all in dot points but just that part...

Ive seriously spent about 2 hours decreasing the word count to 2065 words....there is no possible way that i can take out a further 65 words. Oh well i hope i at least pass!
Does a conditional threat, (which creates fear/apprehension) without the use of force (no weapons are used or anything of the sort) constitute an assault?

lol yeh i think ive just invented a whole new way of looking at torts and i hope to god im doin it right. My assignment is well above the word limit too....how many torts have you done Angel45?
Im almost finished typing up my torts assignment and i just realised something: Do footnotes need to be size 12 font and double spaced as well?
Also, just a general question to make sure im somewhat on the right track, how many 'torts' have people written about/used in the assignment...
If a person hits another as a means of consequence this doesnt amount to battery because (i) the act was not intended and (ii) it was not direct. If it isnt battery then what tort does it amount to? Or basically what action could the harmed person use against the person who indirectly inflicted...
