Both my 2u/3u maths teacher and physics teacher said NOT to use physics formulae in maths and NOT to use maths formulae in physics.

I doubt u need to know the scientists. It was part of the syllabus for Biology and Chemistry and both HSC papers asked nothing about scientists. Someone actually rang up the HSC Advice line about if we needed to know anything about the scientists and they said no! But it wouldnt do any harm...

I believe thats right (unless proven wrong). :) I ended up doing (p+q)^7 expanded it out and it worked it out to be 1-q^7 where q=9/10 which is prob that she wouldnt win.

I used the sine rule. Let YM=x and MC = y x/sin30 = y/sin60 but since there are 2 lots of y x/sin30 = 2y/2sin60 Therefore x/2y = ratio = sin30/2sin60 0.5/2(root 3) But im probably wrong...... >.<
