Hey,
I'm doing arts at UNSW, currently 2nd year.
I know I can do a 2000 level course...
but
Can I do a 3000 level course? What's the difference?
I seem to recall I can only do 3000 level if i'm in third year. Now I'm not sure.
Does anyone know?!
Hey Man, we share the same ambition...
I love the O.C. Reminds me of my trip there in February. Fuck! I love that place, it's like a fucking cultural mecca!
Got that theme-song blaring out ma speakers.
"California... looking out for no. 1... nah nah"
MiniDV is a 'newish' format that was introduced to replace the old Hi8 and associated media used in old camcorders.
Basically Hi8 etc, were minaturised versions of VHS tape you have in your VCR. VHS tape is analog. It's also crap/superseded by DVD
MiniDV is still magnetic tape BUT the...
You choose
Both,
You're not forced into doing anything... it's quite casual, you can talk, chill, sleep in, drink... but just about everyone participates in some sort of activity organised by the group leaders
It's worth going, trust me ;)
Hey Everyone,
Is anyone here boarding at a UNSW college this year...
Does anyone here know anything current about the pro's and cons of the various colleges? like quality of rooms, food, social/community etc. (I.e. stuff that can't be found on the relevant college websites)
I'm...

All teaching involves a certain amount of discretion on the part of the teacher, conscious...
Hey, nah no probs... i didn't really know before either. A postgrad is someone doing a degree who's already got a previous degree.
Edit: damn! beaten by flyin'
1. recommend you consult unis
2. You can major in economics within an arts degree at unsw
3. however, as flyin' said - this is what you should aim for
4. you can also do econ/comm as a postgrad (i.e. after arts)
5. best option: do your best NOW to get in straight!
hope that helps
You can get the 2002 sample answers (aka standards packages) by purchasing the CD-ROM from the Board of Studies website.
Alternatively (and more convenient) it is quite likely that your school would already have the standards package for Advanced English. I would recommend asking your english...
I loyke it!!!
I like your list MercuryDrinker, let me steal it and add what I've seen and liked (numbers for structure not preference)
1. The Shawshank Redemption *get busy living...*
2. Unbreakable *sleeper hit - inspiring and powerful as well*
3. Gladiator *Epic!*
4. American Beauty...
Hi, I think Ollz San has really helpful info...
Repeating is only one of many many options you should research, but a very valid one. My advice is not to rely on it if you're sure you can make it this year. Obviously, not everyone is suited to repeating, you can't choose to repeat and...
