    Multiple choice

Bob, i had 2 different answers: 15. A (the system was built with partial functionality, but it was tried just in one region, so it was either phased or pilot, i put pilot though, the second part was obviously direct, so i put A instead of C) and 19. B (there was an error with the...

    IPT Marathon 2006

NB: edited answer and question fiber optic: advantages: fast, doesn't suffer from interference as it uses light instead of electrical signals. drawbacks: expensive, breaks easily twisted pair: advantages: cheap, reliable drawbacks: needs more repeaters due to copper's properties, can suffer...

    Sample HSC Question

that looks like a bit of a dodgy question, i'd answer it by perhaps looking at midi files, saying they're instructions as opposed to the actual sound (as in, with midi files the actual notes to be played are stored, not the sound of the notes)... i'd like to know how anyone else would approach...

in the other threads they were talking about getting 60-70, being a band 6.. i thought they meant 60-70%, not out of 84 :) i answered only about 60% of questions... god scaling better be good... it was really just a test on everything i sucked at, i was getting 80% in the other exams, but wasn't...

Maths Ext 1 - General thoughts on the exam

i found it shocking... shocking... i didn't answer any of question 6 :) but questions 1-5 i did ok in, question 7 was shocking too... overall aiming for around about 50% raw.. what do you think that'll scale to given the difficulty of this exam?

    clerical recheck

I reckon it's worth a try, i mean, i thought i did realy well in my physics exam, but somehow got a lower mark than my assessments, so i'm willing to spend $12 just to try it... and i have heard of one person who had their marks changed, by a substantial amount too and i'm sorry to repost...

    clerical recheck

hmmm, i'm in physics and wanted to do a recheck, but with the form: http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/pdf_doc/clerical_recheck_notice.pdf it asks for the course number... does anyone know where i can find the course number for physics? i've looked all over but i can't see...

    Quanta to Quarks thoughts

the decay stuff... i just guessed... i figured the Th one had to be less than 238... so i have a 1/238 chance of getting it right... can't remember what i did after that, but i'm pretty sure it involved failing... actually i didn't think i did too badly altogether, but that exam was a real...

    2005 CSSA Physics

having no projectile motion questions was really a let down, they are usually a few gauranteed marks that everyone else has trouble getting... we had our q2q questions changed slightly, stuff about the uncertainty principle and exclusion principle don't expect the exams to be loaded up...

    2005 CSSA Physics

oh god... what's wrong with you people, last year's cssa trials were easy, these ones were not... maybe it was just for me, there were certain things i decided not to study (concentrating on what i felt i needed to spend more time on), every last one of them was in the exam, it was like a...
