HOwever, can i retrieve a few marks for working out? because im sure i differentiated it right, but jsut input the wrong values of x,

The GPe questiona dn the mass and distanceH

lol one of the annoying questions, so i remember the answer i got 1.7MJ, lol highly doubt it's right, but let's hope not lol

The GPe questiona dn the mass and distanceH

no, if you looked at the table the weight measured on teh balance was decreasing, hence the rod was being lifted up by the attraction force between the 2 rods

dude are you doing accelerated or something? 95-100 crazy, but i dont get say you had "many things" you "could have got correct"? and get those scores, quite a paradox lol

The GPe questiona dn the mass and distanceH

i think you use the inverse of teh gradient where i forgot the axes but you get the inveerse, use that F=LxKxI1/m where 1/m (inverse of gradient) = I2/d or something. you use the previous part in the qeustion mass for F=mg and you sub in everything and then find d i didnt get those...

    Questions i didnt know

yup that's the one, i answered it as that what i meant is that -50 wouldnt have caused any form of superconducitivity and i dont think copper has a critical temperature of -50 it was a trick question, note how they put the "imapct of superconductors" a page before to lure us into thinking...

    General thoughts on the exam

I think so, although I'm not putting my money that others will say the same lol my friend, he's super freaky, for the trials (we did the CSSA), he got 98 for physics and 100 (yes that's right perfect 3 figures) for chemistry. he's not doing too bad for his other subjects as well lol like 1st...

    Astrophysics

I think so, can't remember the answer exactly but yeah you use M (as total mass of system derived from Kepler's 3rd Law, and the very last calculation i pushed into my calculator was cuberoot the answer and that got me the distance) basically you use M=(4pi^2r^3)/GT^2

    General thoughts on the exam

much easier than the stuff i did in successone texts and stuff. all very generic quesitons, like that space one, i mean there oculdn't have been a simpler one. a few eyars back there was something to do with impulse, area under a force vs time curve, finding max acceleartion, etc all this mumbo...

    Questions i didnt know

I didn't relate that questino to superconducitity, although I initialyl thought it did I talked more about eddy currents being induced more effectively as when a metal is cool its resistance decreases exponentially. That is copper when heated has its resistance increase exponentially. So it...

    Astrophysics

So how was astro for you guys? I personalyl thought it was easy and didn't cover the content I thought it should, with only 1 calculating question. I was quite surprised that they put in that 7 marker for impacts of technology which advances our understanding of the cosmos. I had hoped for...

Are you sick of old textbooks?

Okay, firstly I have to start off saying are you guys any of you guys sick of having Excel or some Cambrdige textbook that is slow and not updated on the syllabus, especially you HSCers? Personally, I think it's so stupid. I know alot of people fear failure or actaully fail the HSC eventually...

who actually is in year 10?

In year 10 as well, I didn't really study for the SC, although surpirisingly all the stuff in the english and especially the science was easy, not to brag. The only things that can stuff me up are teh multiple choice section, I always stuff that up even in practice. How'd everyone else do?
