How many people have you slept with?

This is a bit of a random thought... but guys congratulate other guys that have had sex with alot of girls, think they are a 'stud' ect. but in terms of real sexual experience it is the guys in long term relationships, ie, that have sex at least once a day as opposed to getting lucky 2 weekends...

    P-Plate Restrictions

The restrictions are ridiculous... a clapped out old v8 is all of 100kw, but a new 6 is closer to 200... go figure Also modifications - what mods are limited, anyone know? It would be ridiculous to expect that a p-plater can't upgrade say the diff (usually upgraded to allow for two wheel...

    Paramedic

Ummn hate to burst some of your bubbles but if your talking about NSW you are wrong. Well on some things your right - they do offer traineeships, starting salary is about $35k a year and there are no prerequisite qualifications but they do get a couple of thousand applicants for only 10-15...

    VSU at ANU

Ok I am not really sure what I think of VSU. I wanted to point out that the food on campus has been privately run since the early 90s (I think) and is NOT any cheaper than anywhere else. Maybe if you live on campus and dont get out much you could think that, but I can get a better meal for the...

What classification system did your old school library use?

Sounds like library of congress, only maybe you got it the wrong way around cos law classifications start with K. Most law libraries use moys classification as well, which kindof sub-sorts things depending on if they are primary sources, australian ect.

    Timetable.ANU

Yeah its stays as a draft for ages. Mostly it doesnt change a whole lot from what it is now, but they have a pretty smart system that after uni begins and everyone has enrolled in their classes, looks at whos doing what classes and if there are alot of people that have a timetable clash some...

    Timetable.ANU

as for the courses, when i say course code i should have said subject code. you search by your 4 subjects, nt the course itself, because every person doing the same course can pick diff electives ect
  10. Ribbon

    Timetable.ANU

you have to go to timetable.anu.edu.au and figure it out. You need to know your course codes to do it.

    Timetable.ANU

You dont really need your timetable until week 1 of semester, because during enrollment/ o-week there are no classes. If you can't remember the course codes of your electives then i guess you could bring it for a reference, but its not really nessary at all.

    Timetable.ANU

OK heres the rules When it says Lecture A, Lecture B, Lecture C you need to go to one of each lecture A, B & C When it says tutorial group A, B ect. you only need to go to one group. If there is more than one tutorial for each group (eg two tutorials for tutorial group a) you need to go...

    Accomodation in Canberra

A tip - In case you are that unlucky, and you are looking for a place to rent, try www.allhomes.com.au (the biggest single listing of rentals in the act), the canberra times on a saturday (it has a property liftout with rentals in the back) and www.realestate.com.au, in that order.

    Law '05

Congrats to everyone who got in - I am surprised there is only one commerce/law and so many abstracts (ie not arts/law or comm/law) this year. mm87511 - Check your timetable, you'd better be nice to me if you have classes in the crisp annexes, or I won't tell you where they are ;) It took me...

    First year law

Well I can't compare first year to any other years, but as far as subjects go, the warm fuzzy and introductory type subjects like foundations and lawyers, justice and ethics are boring as in the lectures, although the seminars (which focus alot on practical & discussion type activities) are...

Less than 95? Still got into ANU law?

yup, you better get to writing your 'motivation and aptitude to study law' letter and get it express posted tomorrow. Details about it should be in your UAC guide, in the ANU section where they give a brief description of each course

buy it from a liquor store and get drunk in your room/at home - much cheaper by far ;) Other than that the bar at B&G is the cheapest I have seen alcohol - $3ish for a premixed drink in a bottle (eg sky vodka)
