    viva voce

    i actually just did a viva voce for my half yearly assesment, but it was for my composition(im doing ext. comp) and i sat down for half an hour and talked about my composition, like my intentions and problems and stuff. They mark on stuff like how fluently you can speak music type language/terms...

    im planning to apply to sydney con for composition, i know that i have to have an interview and hand in like three of my compositions(just the ones from the hsc), but i have know idea what like the expected standard is, or how good everyone else is, i dont know what they expect....anyone know...

    8-9 now, but i don't think at all that it should be sub-sectioned into music 1,2,ext. because all the music extension people do music two as well. i personally dont want it to change but if it does it should be into performance, compo and musicology.....oh well......doesn't look good

    hey, im doing my HSC in '05 and im workin' on my first composition now in the hols, does anyone find that the portfolio gets in the way on composing, its a hasle i tells ya ! besides what am i actually meant to put in there ?

    Trumpeters Unite!!

    the baroque trumpet in D had no valves, that was a modification of the natural trumpet to make it go higher, im basing that on that the modern piccolo is in D, im not really sure....
