i live in sth hurst... so gotta take the train from hurstville to get to uni. nope i'm not doin arts.. i'm 2nd yr commerce this yr! errr.. train ride.. its not that bad actually.. most of the time i sleep :)

err... depends. if ur comin from sydney.. and takin a train down.. then try get them on the same days. saves u from going down each time for a few hrs each day. but then again it wouldn't make much difference if ur buying a weekly ticket it wouldn't change transportation costs..

for all the train rides i've had from hurstville to nth wollongong i've never seen once anyone study on the train....

overall... prob 90 mins to get there... since u're livin in bankstown.. it is quicker to take a bus from there to hurstville... then a train from there to nth w'gong. buses r pretty regular.. and they're usually there once u get off the train.. so there'll b no probs there with you gettin a...

campus environment.. its better than other uni's in sydney... the atmosphere is really relaxed but if u dont like it.. u can always transfer
