    2WTL- Gospel Presentation

I'd like to try something here and see what comes of it: Have a look at this site. It is basically a simple, short and clear gospel presentation that uses the Bible throughout. I think it's great. :) http://www.matthiasmedia.com.au/2wtl/ Anyway, once you've read through it and thought about...

who here has their own study guide books?

I'd actually suggest you get most of your notes from elsewhere- everyone in the state will have the study guides and it won't look impressive at all to the examiners when you just churn out all that stuff again. Sure, if you want them for maths and science and that, get them, because you just...

    Junior French 1611

Hi James, thanks for the info! I thought it might be a hard course but I'm still looking forward to it. Hadn't realised that it was a new course though- I will have no background knowledge to speak of. Oh well, a challenge is always good- and I guess everyone will be in the same boat! So...

Changed my mind about a UoS... what do I do?

Me too! :) I want to do Latin but I don't think it will fit into my timetable so I think I'll do Ancient Greece instead. Anyway I think you can change subjects through My Uni after we get our timetable during O- Week. I think you can change tute times then too... I don't really know anything...

Has anyone done this? What is it like? I want to take it next year but I want to know what its like. It is a lot of work? Do you have to get to HSC Continuers standard in just the year? That would be such hard work! Is it mostly writing/ listening/ speaking or what? How much culture do you learn...

    Atonement- Ian McEwan

Has anybody read this? I really enjoyed it, thought it was very well written and thought- provoking. What did other people think?

    Whats your major?

Yay, more history nerds! I'm majoring in a combination of Ancient and Modern History and also in Heritage Studies in later years. Also doing a couple of languages and some other random subjects!

    Good History Subjects?

Thanks to all for the help. :) Please keep it coming! DeepDarkRose, what other subjects are you doing? I know almost no-one who's doing arts at Sydney next year, so I'm trying to find people who might be in my classes!

    Good History Subjects?

I know this is a really vague question, but what history subjects are good to do, particularly in first year? I want to do ancient, modern, heritage studies and maybe archaeology, and everything sounds good! Particularly, what are Modern European History, Renaissance and Reformation...

    union fees

Actually yeah, I reckon you would, all things considered. It's not about that though- it's about contributing to a community even if you don't directly benefit from all the money.

Bachelor of Education (Secondary: Humanities and Social Sciences)/Bachelor of Arts

So can you do only one major as a teaching area or do you have to do two? Like in first year, could i study: -Compulsory education units -History units as a teaching area -a language but not as a teaching area -another random subject but not as a teaching area Would I be allowed to do that...

    Late Fees

So I changed my preferences yesterday and now i have to pay a huge late fee. I changed it over the internet, will UAC just use the same credit card details as I gave them when I first put in my preferences or will I need to ring them and organise how to pay the fee? I know you have to ring...

Transfer from BA to BA/BEd (Humanities)?

Hi, I definately want to go to Sydney this year and have been thinking for ages that I will do a BA because I'm not completely sure what i want to do. I'm considering doing teaching later on but i don't want to decide completely now. I didn't think I was interested in secondary teaching, more...

    Does God exist?

It concerns me that a lot of people here seem to want to prove religion right. It seems to me that religion is definately something that needs something more then human logic to be believed. I think that this is faith- something given to man by God that enables him to know, believe and trust him...

    Period Pain Medication-GIRLS ONLY

Naprogesic actually doesn't help me that much- Nurofen sometimes works for me. Usually I can handle the pain, and I only get it for a couple of days, but a few times a year I end up actually being sick from the pain. I hate those months! I find the pain is worse if I exercise.
