    Frustrating Ads

The Kellogs crunchy nut ad where the woman tips the cereal box with milk all over herself- CANT STAND IT!! Must agree the Harvey Norman, Optus and APIA are also annoying.

    Saponification

I can help you with the third one: Diaphram cell and membrane cell have identical structures except; the "diaphram" is made of asbestos whilst the "membrane" is made of Polytetrafluoroethene-a cation exchange substance. This lets the Na+ through to the cathode but repels the Cl- and OH- so...

    dumb question

Complete combustion results in water and Carbon dioxide: simplistic example: CH4 + O2 = CO2 + 2H20 Incomplete also gives you carbon monoxide and soot (carbon) etc.. C5H12 + 502 = 4CO + 6H2O + C Hope this helps somehow... just off the top of my head. Good luck

I understand that, but whats getting me is that if Ray A finished faster than Ray B before the 90deg shift, then after the shift, ray B will finish faster than ray A by the same margain. So doesn't that mean that the interference pattern will be the same?? Is there something that i'm missing...

    Michelson-morley

Re: Michelson-morley Help Ppl, i cant grasp the concept of the "rotation by 90degs". My sources say that the interference pattern between the 2 beams should have changed, but i reckon they should stay the same anyway, because all thats happening is the beams are merely switching positions -...

    G - forces - Help Needed

Im stuck on the same point too... Have you gone onto HSC ONLINE-Physics? I went and it gave a reasonable explaination. It says that its used because true weight cannot be felt yet apparent weight is what the astronaut experiences. 'G-force' is the expression of the proportion of one to the...

    Books school has ruined

Year 10 english destroyed me. I've never been able to watch Bend it like bekham or pleasantville again... i guess its not a bad thing that we can watch a film and understand it on a deeper level but i reckon it was fun being able to just sit there and enjoy the movie without the need to think :)
