Maybe a "I Can't Believe You're Wearing That!!" could be fun. Then there could be trashy eighties disco, or maybe even get everybody to come dressed as yourself, although that leaves you WIDE open for insults, haha.
Wooo, I got my letter today too. I got accepted into Applied Science (Adventure Ecotourism) at Albury/Wodonga, although if its possible I'm going to defer until 2007 :) .Veeery happy today.
My parents helped pay for my formal, earlier in the year they helped me pay for my car which was really kind. I think for Christmas they are getting me an MP3 player, all for my marks. I'm really grateful for it, I really didn't want anything.
My UAI: 80.15
Course: Bachelor of Applied Science (Adventure Ecotourism) at Charles Sturt University, Albury-Wodonga
I'm gonna be a planeteer! :D
I think the UAI was 70, but theres additional selection criteria as well : /. Fingers crossed.
Oh well it is nice to finally here of someone being rewarded well for their hard work. Congratulations for your mark, and hopefully there are more people who worked hard all year and went well.
Hehe, I'm a beaver :D
Aww, well look at it this way. There'll be hundreds of punks there by themselves, unable to find a friend to drag along to a band they can't even pronounce, so they'll all be looking to groove with someone!
I think I'll see them at Blues and Roots. As much as I love the Enmore and think its the perfect place, $74 is heaps when I could be paying $350 for 5 days and seeing other bands as well. Plus its in Byron! Mmm hippies
Hearing stories of people starting and finishing their major work in the last 4 weeks and getting great marks ( 40+) depresses me :( . I spent all year on mine and put in so much hard work and got a lousey 33.
