    What forms around the cathode during electrochemical processes?

    remeber RED CAT, so reduction occurs at teh cathode. This means that an ion is gaining electrons and depending on the ion in question may stay in solution but lower in oxidisation number, be reduced to a solid which forms on the cathode itself, or be reduce to a gas which floats away into...

    Prohibition of Receiving a UAI.

    no way guys, droolian has the most explosive method of study this side of canickledook. To quote ernest hemingway "Droolian is a fascinating example of social darwinism run amok, truly a beutiful human being". If i were Jarrod, i would kindly return to my seat and replace the tray in it's...

    integration of trig

    how did you find the derivative of cosec (x) and the integral of cosec^2 (x)? ive always been puzzled, what is the derivative of sec x, and cosec x

    more polynomials

    ok in this example, why in part 3 do they substitute their value into the result from part 2 and not the original polynomial

    AWESOME ===>de moivre's thorem and polynomials<==== AweSOME!

    actually i dont get it i can only get as far as the first step via binomial expansion, but where do the angles come in? ..... riviet?

    AWESOME ===>de moivre's thorem and polynomials<==== AweSOME!

    use de movre's theorem to express cos 4θ in terms of cos θ and use your results to solve the equation 8x^4 - 8x^2 + 1 = 0. hence show that: cos π/8 + cos5π/8 + cos 7π/8 = 0 cos π/8 . cos 3π/8 . cos 5π/8 . cos 7π/8 = 1/8 (π is supposed to be pi)

    another polynomials question

    is it too big, how much smaller would you liek it, to the nearest ratio divisible by e^6 and then express in polar for and perform a trig substitution on it while looking atthe screen upside down

    free beer

    our teacher said that we only have to know it qualitatively and the momentum calculations are not part of the syllabus, but screw that lets do it anyway

    roots of complex number

    ok so your saying the modulii of both sides is equal, fine i get that. byt isnt the modulus of lhs: sqrt[ (x^2 - y^2)^2 + (2xy)^2 ] owing to the fact that (x + iy)^2 = x^2 - y^2 +2xyi

    wow thats so helpful, i just dropped a bit of cheese as i read it ! i tried multiplying it out and gave up cos it is some massive numberthat will simplify out really well but it looked to huge to continue
