I have never heard of a lecture going on until 10pm, but last year i had 2 subjects where I had a 3hr lecture from 6pm-9pm. And another one next semester. So yes, it happens.

Well, I've done COMP115 and COMP125, and that was all C++. COMP225 is further C++, COMP229 is Java. We use Oracle for SQL DBs

Well then. IT course = 2 programming subjects in first year - both C++ and 2 more in 2nd year (I think C++ and Java) and more in 3rd year? (I'm not sure about 3rd year lol, haven't checked it out properly yet) and 2 maths subjects, one in first year and another in 2nd year

Only have to do 2 units, one 100 level and one 200 level. the 100 level one is equivalent to 3U maths i think?

I belong in the latter group. However, I am a ICS student. But I do a couple of EFS units. I have friends who are also "western" asians who are EFS students. But they are in the minority, compared to international students, who are seriously everywhere in the EFS world.
