Id suggest dropping it. If you'r doing much better in your other subjects why keep it? I made that mistake last year and put alot of effort improving my mark...in the end its only one unit doesnt make that much of an impact on your uai only takes time you could be spending on your 10units

OK in the main rounds i got accepted into b business/ med sci at UTS now i got a late round offer for b Design at unsw I want to transfer to B design in fashion design in uts . What should i do? whats easier to transfer from? and if i do design can i go into second year fashion design?

I missed out on my course(in UTS) by 3 points should i call up the faculty because i did a TVET course on the same subject would this get me anywhere for the late rounds??

If I start my course midyear would I be able to take extra subjects and finish my first year in the second semester?

Are the uai cut-offs the same mid year? Im only 3 points off the course I want

Is it possible to transfer after the first semester or do you have to wait the full year???

you dont know if you'll get an offer next round so accept as a backup, you can still change your preferences for the late rounds.

okk... so im a bit confused lets say i get a 84/105 and that gets moderated to a band 6.. do they use 90% in my uai calculation or the 83 mark???

ok im confused do they use just your raw marks for uai calculation is it moderated at all according to the subject difficulty before hand???? like in chem or maths ext1 if you get an 85 does that go up to 90... and then they use that??? :s
