PHYS 1901: Introduction: 100%
PHYS 1901: Assignment 1: 105%
PHYS 1901: Assignment 2: 103%
(These mini-assignment are worth 10% in total)

Ive had a few SOFT 1901 quizzes but they dont count for advanced students

im just interested in the kind of marks that get allocated as I have heard D's and HD's are pretty much rediculously high. I want to disprove them

It's going to be hard to disprove with those kind of marks...especially when some of the questions allow you to get 115% percent and possibly even more. This thread may be more useful after the mid-year exams.

Why the hell is it 115%? Why not just say out of 115? That looks retarded.

The assessment is online, you get rewarded marks if you dont use hints and deducted for getting wrong answers. Hence if you use little to no hints, and only get a few wrong, you can get well over 100%

its just that if the standardisation of credit points affects me. I'm pretty much fucked if I stay in economics & social sciences. So i'll need to transfer to commerce liberal studies so that I don't have to major in a specific subject and minor in another (I want to double in marketing). And I will need a D average to transfer.
Thing is in econometrics I know I can get a Credit if I study a million for it, as I'm not maths oriented. So I will need an HD or two to displace it and for safety as to transfer into my new degree.

I'd love to but I can't. For a lot of people this year will be pretty cruisy. For me a lot will be decided. I'm bloody worried with econometrics. I put in lots of effort trying to understand everything thus far. I'm struggling with discrete random variables. Putting in hours and hours of work to try understand it. Then I download the lecture notes from the following week. And I'm back to zero. Worse then that. I don't think it's going to get any easier either. I was moaning about the standard variation and stuff saying it's too hard for me. Now I'm screwed. And not the good screwed: by three mexican pirates.

Sorry, marks matter at uni?

News to me. I'm very happy with the breathing space a credit average gives me.
